ANOMALY- odd, strange or unexplainable condition, situation or object
APPARITION- a supernatural appearance of a person or thing, especially a ghost, specter or phantom
BEING- the state or fact of existing; existence; something that exists or is thought to exist, especially something that cannot be assigned to any category
COLD SPOT- a small area or place that is noticeably colder than the surrounding air temperature. Spirits are said to create cold spots as they attempt to manifest themselves
DEMON- an evil spirit; devil or fiend
DISEMBODIED VOICE- a voice or sound, heard or recorded, coming from no physical person, body or known source
ECTOPLASM- a substance or spiritual energy, said to be associated with the formation/manifestation of spirits
EMF- Electro Magnetic Field, a field of electromagnetic energy. Ghosts and spirits are said to give of an EMF field as they attempt to manifest themselves
ENTITY- something that has a real existence, thing
EVP- Electronic Voice Phenomena, spirit voice.
FULL SPECTRUM- a term for a camera that has been modified to see the ultraviolet(UV), visible and infra red spectrums of light.
GHOST- the soul of a dead person, a disembodied spirit, usually vague or shadowy, usually seen as wandering among or haunting living persons
GHOST HUNTING- the process of investigating locations that are reported to be haunted by ghosts
HAUNTING- a spirit or entity inhabiting a building or location; recurrent phenomena reported to occur in particular locations that include apparitions, sounds, movement of objects and other effects and anomalies.
IR- short for Infra Red light. A wavelength of light invisible to the human eye but is said that spirits reside and manifest themselves here. Cameras see into the spectrum, and specially modified cameras and IR lights allow us to see deep into this wavelength.
LIGHT ANOMALY- a light, either moving or stationary, that has no known or explainable source
MANIFEST- to appear, to make known through either sight, sound, touch or smell
ORB- a sphere or globe, a sphere of energy of a spirit manifesting itself
PARANORMAL- of or pertaining to the claimed occurrence of an event or perception without scientific explaination
PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION- the act or process of investigating claims of the paranormal
POLTERGEIST- a ghost or spirit that manifests itself by noises, knockings, moving of objects, and disorder
POSSESSION- a spiritual take over or possessing of ones body. Different levels of possession include mild, medium and extreme/demonic. May or may not have dangerous consequences.
SPIRIT- an incorporeal being, especially the soul of a dead person
